Diane Keaton has been known for her unique sense of style when it comes to fashion since making her screen debut back in 1970.

And on Wednesday the Academy Award-winning actress showed off one of her more casual-cool ensembles when she stepped out to meet up with a friend for coffee near her home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Annie Hall leading lady was first spotted making the short walk from her parked vehicle to the entrance of the Brentwood Country Mart.

On this day, she chose a black double-breasted blazer, which had the appearance of being cinched in at the waist with its snug design, and a black turtleneck, that’s been a staple in her wardrobe for many years.

While she went with the classic solid black for her upper body, the Something’s Gotta Give star opted to go with blue pinstripe pants that helped accentuate her lean figure.

The Los Angeles native, 77, also donned a pair of black leather ankle boots, and had her blonde tresses styled long and flowing down past her shoulders from underneath her trendy fedora.

Enjoying the laid-back atmosphere, the pair appeared to get into at least a couple of deep conversations during their time at the mart.

Just a couple of weeks ago, in what was her most recent Instagram post, Keaton put many of her favorite fashion trademarks on display in a photo taken alongside Olympia Gayot, the creative director and head of design at J Crew.

In the picture the screen legend sat on top of a pile of books in a black pinstripe ensemble, consisting of pants and matching vest and blazer.

On this occasion she got the cinched in look by using a wide black belt that helped showcase her womanly curves.

She also wore a black fedora that appeared to be the very same hat she wore for her coffee date with her friend.

Keaton was arguably among the most popular and acclaimed actresses of the 1970s and 1980s.

She began her career on stage but eventually made the transition to the silver screen in the romantic comedy, Lovers and Other Strangers (1970).

Her big breakthrough came when she played Kay Adams-Corleone in the classic gangster film The Godfather (1972), and it’s sequels The Godfather Part II (1974) and The Godfather Part III (1990).

She also made waves with her roles in a number of Woody Allen films like Play It Again, Sam (1972), Sleeper (1973) and Annie Hall (1977), for which she won a Best Actress Oscar.

Some of her other popular films include Looking For Mr Goodbar (1977), Father Of The Bride (1991), Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993), Marvin’s Room (1996), First Wives Club (1996), Morning Glory (2010) and Book Club (2018).
