Denise Welch hinted at a secret feud between herself and Fern Britton when she made a cryptic comment on Monday.
The Loose Women panelist, 65, shared her thoughts as she watched the drama unfold in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
During the episode, Fern, 66 was seemingly given the power to evict a housemate of her choice and took the opportunity to boot Louis Walsh.
However, in a shocking twist, Big Brother later revealed she had actually spared the Irish music manager, 71, in a St. Patrick’s Day twist.
Denise, who won the series in 2012, posted a comment on X claiming: ‘The mask is starting to slip.’

Following the shock nominations in Monday’s episode, Louis declared he would reveal the Celebrity Big Brother ‘snake’.
The former X Factor judge vowed to get revenge after discovering a housemate’s attempt to oust him.
Fern had unknowingly spared Louis after Big Brother made her believe she wanted him deported.
When she entered the diary room, Fern found a pot of gold on the diary room chair with a red toy snake on it.
Big Brother told her, “Fern, you just found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.”
‘That means you have been given one wish, the greatest wish of all. You have to choose one housemate to be evicted.”

Fern had unknowingly spared Louis from eviction after Big Brother tricked her into believing that if she planted a ‘secret red snake’ on his pillow, he would be sent home.
After finding out, Louis Walsh declared he would discover the ‘snake’ of a housemate who nominated him in the shock nominations.
The all-powerful entity continued, “St. Patrick famously banished the snakes from Ireland, and now, by finding the pot of gold, you have been selected to banish a Housemate.
“You have to choose one housemate to be evicted today, you have to secretly place this snake on their pillow. No one can see you doing this.”
After the Housemates found the red snake on Louis’ pillow, he was the first to be called to the diary room to nominate.
In a dramatic turn of events, viewers then found out that Big Brother had lied to Fern, when Louis was told he had been chosen for eviction by a fellow housemate. So a snake was placed on his pillow.
He was then told to look in the hatch in front of him, where he found a four-leaf clover, meaning he missed the next round of nominations and guaranteed his place in the grand final.
Determined to find out the culprit, Louis vowed to unravel the mystery, convinced it was ‘never the obvious person’.
Pointing to Coronation Street’s Colson Smith, he said: ‘I know it wasn’t him, it could be someone else.’
Louis then said, “I’ve been watching you all week, I’ve been watching everyone, it’s never who you think…”
Tensions between Louis and Fern are high after the TV judge commented on her performance.
During an earlier episode, the contestants took part in Big Brother’s new show You’re Gonna Be A Star.
The Irish music manager, 71, sat across from Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Zeze Millz, Lauren Simon and Fern, 66, and asked: “I honestly want to know how it’s going.”
Ekin-Su, 29, replied: “I’m doing well” and Zeze, 32, agreed: “I’m actually doing well” before Ekin-Su continued: “Everyone is doing their best and we’re getting there.”
Louis replied, “You look great. Even Fern looks good.’
The ladies all turned to look at Fern, who immediately reacted and playfully kicked the air in front of Louis.
Louis continued, “Do you know what I mean? You look good.’
Fern crouched low in front of him and repeated, “Even Fern?” while her co-stars told Louis he couldn’t say that.

Unfazed, Louis continued, “And you look great, no one said it was easy. But you know, only one of you will win. And I can only be honest, and so can Sharon.’
Ekin-Su asked, “What advice can you please give us?”
The former Westlife and Boyzone manager was quick to reply to the Love Island star: “Confidence. Sell it. Smile.’
Ekin-Su asked, “Can we be sexy?” and Louis replied, “Please!”
Then he repeated shamelessly, “Even Fern looks good.”
