‘I used to want to do an adult version of Camp Rock 3, like, an R-rated one,’ Lovato disclosed during their interview.

‘But I think too much time has passed,’ they continued dejectedly. ‘And it’s missed its chance.’

During the interview, Lovato was also jokingly prompted the question of her favorite dish — referring to a famous clip of of them talking to German radio station NRJ in 2015.

Instead of answering what their favorite prepared meal was, they gave an unexpected answer with a straight face: ‘I like mugs, because they’re very comfortable in your hand and they hold the hot things that you don’t have to touch.’

Nearly a decade later, she discussed the viral moment once again and emphasized that it was all a joke.

‘I was really tired and doing these interviews and I was getting asked all these questions,’ she recalled to Harper’s Bazaar while laughing. ‘Finally, I was just tired of answering the questions, so I thought I’d make up a silly answer.

‘And then it went viral,’ Lovato continued. ‘Everyone thought that I was serious, but if you watch the video you’ll see me, like, look over to my day-to-day manager and smile after that answer, because I was like, “Ha, ha, they didn’t know”.’

They added: ‘Anyways, my favorite dish would be a plate. No, I’m just kidding. My favorite dish is probably pizza. I love pizza.’

Recalling iconic internet moments: Lovato laughed contagiously before they even finished asking the entire question and recalled the nickname that was given to them after an unflattering photograph was uploaded to Tumblr in October 2015. 'When Poot went viral, that actually sucked,' they answered truthfully. 'Because I thought that was a real picture of me and I was like, "Oh no, that's a really bad angle".'

A producer behind the cameras then asked them: ‘Is it weird when things like that, or Poot, or “get a job, stay away from her” go viral?’

They continued, ‘But Poot was photoshopped! Later, I felt better about it, because I realized that wasn’t my face. But it was definitely weird when it went viral.’

About the viral ‘get a job’ and ‘stay away from her’ comments that she had once written to a super fan who had posted a photo with Lovato’s sister, she said: ‘That’s a whole other story, but it’s really funny to look back on.’
