Declan Donnelly enjoys a day at the beach in Australia with wife Ali Astall and their kids Isla and Jack as the presenter prepares for new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Declan Donnelly enjoyed a family day out at the beach in Australia on Sunday as he prepares for the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The TV personality, 47, who will present the ITV show with his on-screen partner Ant McPartlin, was pictured performing his song Jack, 16 months, as he walked along the sand with his wife Ali Astall.

He looked casual in a black T-shirt and patterned shorts, shielding his eyes with dark shades.

Meanwhile, Ali put on a leggy show in a sheer white robe as he played with son Jack and daughter Isla.

It comes after Dec was just ‘yards away’ from a nasty bite from a venomous snake while enjoying a beach day with family.

Dec spent time at his favorite spot Cabarita Beach with his children Jack and Isla. He was much closer to danger than he thought.

In an incident eerily reminiscent of an I’m A Celebrity trial, Dec narrowly managed to avoid a number of dangerous reptiles during his visit.

Large signs could be seen on the beach reading: “WARNING: A large brown snake has been spotted crossing here,” The Sun reported.

Even one sighting can alert a community to the danger of the snakes, also known as Pseudonaja Textilis.

According to Australia Geographic, the eastern brown snake is one of Australia’s most venomous snakes.

Some can grow up to two meters in length and even one bite can cause paralysis.

In addition, the snakes cause one to two deaths every year, although anti-venom drugs are very advanced.

Medical attention should be sought immediately after contact with the poison as a severe headache may occur within 15 minutes.

Due to its brown color it can often walk around unnoticed.

The snake makes its home throughout eastern Australia, from North Queensland to South Australia, but not in Tasmania.

Dec stays in the country with his wife Ali Astall, their five-year-old daughter Isla and Jack.

While the contestants sleep outside in cramped sleeping quarters and a plank with a hole in it for a toilet, Dec has rented a £1,000-a-night luxury beach apartment with private pool for his stay in Australia. MailOnline can reveal.

The four-bedroom property offers idyllic views and even an outdoor spa. In-room massages are also available, while residents can look out over the ‘glittering surf’ and ‘soft white sand beach’ close to the Gold Coast.

There is also a rooftop pool for Dec and his family to use.

The pair have presented the ITV show since it debuted in 2002, but in 2018 Ant was replaced by Holly Willoughby after filming a series to tackle his alcohol addiction.

This year’s celebrities will fly into Brisbane Airport from Sunday as the show airs next Sunday, November 19.

Nigel Farage will be among the first after signing a deal worth an astonishing £1.5 million – the highest amount ever paid to a contestant on the show.

He will be joined by celebrities including Jamie-Lynn Spears – sister of American singer Britney Spears, ex-Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, jockey Frankie Dettori, Marvin Humes and former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold.

During the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, the show’s location was moved to Wales and it was revealed that the TV duo were staying with their families in a £1,000-a-week four-bedroom cottage equipped with a trout farm.
