Dane Cook is married! The actor, 51, weds fitness instructor Kelsi Taylor, 24, at a private seaside estate in Hawaii in front of 20 people

Dane Cook is a married man.

The 51-year-old actor has tied the knot with his much younger fiancée Kelsi Taylor, according to People.

The wedding took place on Saturday at a private estate in O’ahu, Hawaii.

There were only 20 guests at the outdoor ceremony.

Fitness instructor Kelsi looked elegant in a white gown with a veil as she held onto a bouquet. And Dane was dapper in a dark blue suit with tie. 

‘We chose Hawaii because it has such a special place in our hearts and our relationship,’ Cook told People.

‘It was one of the first trips we ever went on together and we continue to go back often. It’s such an oasis, and we couldn’t be more excited to have spent our wedding week surrounded by the beauty of Oahu.’

‘We envisioned something that was more along the lines of a gathering of our closest family and friends,’ he said.

“Something intimate, connected, and filled with fun. 

‘We decided to do a full week vacation with a wedding right in the middle, and we wouldn’t want it any other way! Nothing better than spending this special time with all of our favorite people,’ added Cook.

She wore the Solstice Gown from Grace Loves Lace, a Grace veil and clear heels from Amina Muaddi.

‘It was one of the first dresses I tried on, and I immediately fell in love with it,’ she shared with People. ‘There’s just something about the simplicity and comfort of it and the beautiful stitching design and detail. So happy to have found this gem!’

She walked down the aisle to Marry Me by Train.

‘Every time I heard this song it made me so emotional. I knew it was the pick for the ceremony,’ she said.

Last year he said that their impending marriage had added a new marital dimension to his popular shows during an interview with E! News at the premiere of his new special Dane Cook: Above It All.

The actor and comic revealed that Kelsi has been the first person to hear and respond to some of his newest jokes.

‘She saw everything that I was working on for the show,’ he explained. ‘And she was like, “Keep that in. I think that part will be great.” There’s even some fun at our own expense.’

He was referring to the 27-year age gap between the two lovebirds, which comes up in the course of his latest set.

‘We have a bit of an age difference, so it’s in the show, it’s in the show,’ he admitted. ‘If we can’t laugh at it, then nobody else is allowed.’

Kelsi is only 23 now, but the two had already been together for five years when he popped the question.

Although the Mr. Brooks actor made his name with a particularly raunchy style of humor, he said he thought married life would transform his stand-up shows.

‘I was just trying some material out on her the other day where I was like, “Hey, I think I have maybe my first what-it’s-like-to-be-married joke,”‘ he shared. ‘So, she got the exclusive. We tried it out and she said, “I approve of that. That’s a good one.”‘

He added he expected the new material would suit the new generations of fans showing up at his concerts.

‘I think it’ll change it in the way that I would always hope growing up with a generation of comedy fans. I was a college kid talking to, you know, college-age students. And to grow up with a generation of comedy fans, their kids are now coming to my show. I’m family oriented and to be looking at that with Kelsey and our future and family, it’s like, all feels like the right timing.’

Dane previously told People that he ‘was so ready to ask’ Kelsi to marry him. 

‘I was completely zen about it,’ he said. ‘The evening of the proposal was incredibly beautiful, the weather was perfect, sunset was spectacular, and I was just quite simply very happy.’

The stand-up star was previously linked to high-profile women who were closer in age to him, including Jessica Simpson, 42, and Nicole Scherzinger, 44. 

Dane’s latest special, Above It All, which was filmed from on his home’s porch in Los Angeles, will begin streaming on October 5 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, with a replay available to watch for 14 days.
