Veteran Kenyan musician Colonel Mustafa’s stars still continue to align even after fans and friends contributed millions of shillings to his rescue. Mustafa’s financial status had turned dismal especially after his mother was reportedly diagnosed with cancer. Well, after he was recently invited over by the Cabinet Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs Ababu Namwamba, Mustafa has alluded some of the details of their conversation and how he might soon land a state job under the office.
In an exclusive interview with Youtuber Mungai Eve, Mustafa revealed that plans are currently underway and sooner or later he might be working under the ‘Talanta Hela Initiative’ as a mentor to young talented youths who opt to take their crafts to the next level.
“Mambo yanatengenezwa sasa hivi and I hope that soon nitakuwa pala kama one of the mentors kwa talanta hela initiative.” Mustafa revealed. (Watch video from mark 8:02)
During Mustafa’s meeting with CS Namwamba, the former Budalangi MP showered praises on the musician terming him as a real man who never banked on others for his survival but went out of his way to provide for himself. Apparently, Mustafa had been working at a construction site before Kenyans overwhelmingly came to his rescue.
