COLLINS JUMAISI: MOTHER OF SUSPECTED SERIAL KILLER SPEAKS OUT

Margaret Rose Jumaisi, mother of Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, has spoken about her son’s shocking involvement in a series of murders. The family is reeling from the news that Collins is the prime suspect in the brutal killings of women found in a Mukuru kwa Njenga quarry.

Rose described her youngest son as a troubled individual who dropped out of school in Form 3.

Collins had a troubling pattern of disappearing for years before returning home. In 2016, he bought land and built a house, but he left it under his mother’s care.

Collins’ sister shared more about his troubled past. She recalled taking Collins to Uganda for further studies after he finished his KCPE. However, he disappeared from Uganda and ended up in Nairobi with a friend.

Collins was arrested early Monday morning outside a club in Soweto. Detectives claim he confessed to murdering 42 women between 2022 and July 11, 2024.

Collins Jumaisi, however, told the court he confessed under duress and was tortured.

Detectives allegedly found disturbing evidence during a search of Collins Jumaisi’s home. This includes two female panties and a machete believed to have been used to dismember the victims.

“A search led to the recovery of 24 Airtel SIM card holders, 8 smartphones, 1 laptop, 1 hard drive, 2 flash drives, 1 machete believed to be used to dismember the victims, 12 nylon sacks similar to the ones used in stiffing the bodies, 1 pair of industrial rubber gloves, 6 ID cards for men and 2 for women,” DCI Boss Amin Mohamed stated.

“Other items included: “1 pink female handbag, 2 female panties, 5 rolls of cannabis, 4 huge clear sellotapes some of which recovered at the scene, 1 reflector jacket, 2 title deeds, 2 notebooks and assorted documents.”

Collins Jumaisi, confessed to having unprotected sex with each victim before killing them. He claimed to have murdered over 20 women in 2023 and 10 more in 2024. Although he stated his first victim was his wife, his family insists he never introduced a woman as his spouse.

He also admitted to stealing his victims’ belongings—such as phones, clothes, and cash—and either giving them away or selling them.

Two additional suspects are now under investigation. One was found with a phone belonging to the latest victim, while the other is suspected of selling the phone.
