Chuck Norris celebrates his 84th birthday by showing off his fit physique and claiming he ‘feels 48’ while fans leave a barrage of jokes

Chuck Norris is celebrating another trip around the sun this weekend. He turns 84 on Tuesday and proves that he is still in fantastic shape.

The martial arts icon took to Instagram to share a video with his 1.6 million followers of him throwing a few punches at a heavy bag.

“You know, I’m 84 today, but I feel like I’m 48,” Norris said with a laugh, before concluding with, “God bless you all.”

Norris also captioned the post: “Feeling good and staying active! Thank you everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes. God bless.’

But many others, like filmmaker Justin Taite, provided commentary in the form of bogus “Chuck Norris Facts,” satirical facts that surfaced on the Something Awful forums in 2005 and have since become an Internet phenomenon.

“Chuck Norris doesn’t grow old, age is afraid to creep up on him,” Taite said in his commentary.

The Chuck Norris Facts were created by Ian Spector and appear to be inspired by Conan O’Brien’s jokes about the martial arts legend on Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

Norris wrote his own The Official Chuck Norris Fact Book in October 2009.
