Chris Young is CLEARED of all charges following his arrest at a Nashville bar… after security footage showed singer being shoved by an officer

Chris Young was acquitted of all charges on Monday following his arrest at a Nashville bar after being pulled over for allegedly confronting alcohol enforcement.

The country star, 38, was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer and resisting arrest after allegedly “punching” an officer.

However, a statement was released Friday by Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk — just one day after security footage showed Young being pushed by an officer before the arrest, contradicting the officer’s version of events.

Funk stated, per People‘Regarding the Chris Young Incident – After reviewing all of the evidence in this case, the District Attorney’s Office has determined that these charges will be dismissed.’

The singer’s attorney, Bill Ramsey, also released a statement saying, “Mr. Young and I are pleased with the district attorney’s decision to acquit him of all charges and any wrongdoing.”

Chris is acquitted of all charges shortly after security footage showed him being aggressively pushed by an officer during the Nashville bar altercation that left him arrested – apparently contradicting the officer’s version of events.

The country star is stabbed so hard by the special agent that he tumbles backwards over a bar stool in the DawgHouse Saloon in the video, which is shown from three angles.

Law enforcement officials said four Alcoholic Beverage Commission officers were checking another bar, Tin Roof, when they first encountered the singer, who then followed them to DawgHouse before attacking one of them.

But the surveillance video appears to tell a different story, prompting Young’s attorney Bill Ramsey to demand an apology and the charges be dropped.

The first clip in the footage shows Young wearing a black leather jacket, jeans and a cap as he stands close to the bar as the four officers marched past him towards the exit.

The 2006 Nashville Star winner then reached out his arm and appeared to block the first officer’s path but did not touch him, and the officer responded by pushing him so hard that he fell backwards.

The fall is so dramatic that several people who were also sitting at the bar jumped up from their seats and approached the Gettin’ You Home singer to watch him.

Another camera angle, taken from behind Young, showed him landing on his back on the edge of the bar before falling to the ground. A bar stool fell with him.

Young quickly stood up and backed away from the officers with his hands up in a gesture of surrender. One officer placed himself between Young and the other officers in an apparent peacekeeping gesture.

The Famous Friends singer was arrested shortly afterwards – something his lawyer said should never have happened.

“What happened to my client Chris Young at a bar in Nashville on Monday night was wrong and he should never have been arrested and charged in the first place,” Ramsey told DailyMail.com.

“In light of the video evidence, Tennessee ABC must drop the charges and apologize for the physical, emotional and professional harm caused to my client.”

The events leading up to the arrest began around 8:30 p.m., when Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents conducted a compliance check at Tin Roof — a bar on Demonbreun Street in Midtown Nashville — and encountered the singer.

After checking his identification, Young — who is known for a string of No. 1 hits and winning the Nashville Star reality show — allegedly followed the officers and asked them questions before recording them on his camera.

When the officers went to the next bar, DawgHouse, to continue their ID checks, Young was following them with his group of people when the confrontation occurred.

The star then tried to prevent the officers from leaving by reaching out and “hitting” one of the officers, the affidavit said.
