Chris Brown Claims He Still Experiences Imposter Syndrome

Chris Brown is still one of the biggest R&B stars in the world nearly 20 years after he originally made his debut. He’s already released 10 albums, all of which made it onto the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Three of them, F.A.M.E, Fortune, and Indigo reached the number one spot on the charts. Despite his commercial success over such a long period of time, Brown recently confessed that he still feels like a phony sometimes.

“11th album. I still pinch myself and have frequent Spatz of imposter syndrome. I’m extremely thankful and appreciative of how far I’ve come and the people who got me here,” Brown began an Instagram story post overnight. “I continue to strive higher. MUSIC IS A CHOICE AND I THANK YOU FOR CHOSING ME,” he concludes. Subsequently, in the comments fans rushed to show support for Brown. “Super TRIPLE OG LEGEND,” and “C BREEZY 🔥” two of the top comments on the post read. Check out the post for yourself below.

Chris Brown Shares Feelings On New Album

Earlier this year Chris Brown announced his 11th studio album. He’s taking the fact that it’s his 11th album pretty seriously too. Consequently the project is called 11:11 and is releasing on November 11, AKA 11/11. Also, unlike some of his recent projects which have been far lengthier, this one is only 11 tracks long.

Over the weekend, Chris Brown shared his newest single “Sensational.” The track saw him teaming up with Davido and Lojay to try on an afrobeats inspired sound. Clearly, the song is connecting with fans as its racked up over 1.5 million streams on Spotify alone in just a few days. Additionally, he’s appeared as a featured artist alongside a number of big names already this year. Chloe, Ciara, Tee Grizzley, Ty Dolla $ign, and more have all tapped Brown to appear on their songs.
