Police are looking for Rashee Rice after a Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver vehicle was involved in a serious crash in Dallas Saturday evening, reports indicate.

The Dallas Morning News claims Rice, who helped the Chiefs win a second straight Super Bowl last month, is wanted by police in connection with the crash, which happened around 6:20 pm local time on Saturday in northeast Dallas.

It’s currently unclear if anyone was injured, but officials believe the car involved was registered or rented to the 23-year-old, meaning they are now on the hunt to find it.

As of Sunday morning, police records do not indicate whether Rice is facing charges or what his level of involvement in the crash was. He also does not appear in Dallas County jail records as of 7:30 a.m. local time Sunday morning.

Ny Breaking.com has reached out to the Dallas County Sheriff Department for more information.

Rice grew up in the Fort Worth suburb of North Richland Hills, Texas, and spent all four years of his college career in Dallas.

The former SMU star was selected by Kansas City in the second round of the NFL Draft last year before quickly becoming a key player for the Super Bowl champions.

Last season, he ranked second on the team in receptions (79) and receiving yards (938), behind only Travis Kelce, and first in touchdown catches with seven.

Rice also recorded 26 catches for 262 yards in the postseason as the Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers en route to a second straight Super Bowl.
