Charlize Theron, 48, DENIES getting a facelift as she reacts to fans that have suggested she had plastic surgery: 'I'm just aging, this is just what happens'

Charlize Theron has denied any reports that she’s undergone a facelift in order to stay and look young, and instead has hilariously quipped: ‘I’m just aging, this is just what happens.’

The 48-year-old screen siren was talking about beauty and youth while marking two decades as the face of Dior’s best-selling fragrance J’Adore.

Looking back through the iconic shots, the star remarked on her changing appearance in a new interview.

‘My face is changing, and I love that my face is changing and aging,’ she told Allure magazine. But ‘people think I had a facelift.’

‘They’re like, “What did she do to her face?” I’m like, “B***h, I’m just aging! It doesn’t mean I got bad plastic surgery. This is just what happens.”‘

The Young Adult actress – who took her children to one of the Taylor Swift concerts in L.A. – also is not a fan of the double standard between men and women when it comes to aging.

Then and now: Charlize Theron has denied any reports that she’s undergone a facelift in order to stay and look young, and instead has hilariously quipped: ‘I’m just aging’ (left in 2002 aged 27 and right in 2023)

‘I’ve always had issues with the fact that men kind of age like fine wines and women like cut flowers,’ she said.

‘I despise that concept and I want to fight against it, but I also think women want to age in a way that feels right to them,’ the South Africa native mused.

‘I think we need to be a little bit more empathetic to how we all go through our journey,’ she explained.

‘My journey of having to see my face on a billboard is quite funny now,’ the Fast X star joked.

The mom of two recounted a funny story of a time when she and her oldest daughter Jackson, 11, passed by one of her 10-foot high J’Adore ads.

‘My oldest was just so embarrassed. She’s like, “Oh, my God, Mom! You’re not even wearing a shirt.” I was like, “You’re right. I didn’t even realize,”‘ the Atomic Blonde actress said.

‘She’s like, “All my friends are gonna see this. I mean, can you just wear a shirt?”‘

The North County actress also talked about what kind of roles she no longer takes on due to her age.

‘I will never, ever do a movie again and say, “Yeah, I’ll gain 40 pounds.” I will never do it again because you can’t take it off,’ she said.

‘When I was 27, I did Monster, I lost 30 pounds, like, overnight. I missed three meals and I was back to my normal weight,’ she explained.

‘Then I did it at 43 for Tully and I remember a year into trying to lose the weight, I called my doctor and I said, “I think I’m dying because I cannot lose this weight.”

‘And he was like, “You’re over 40. Calm down. Your metabolism is not what it was.” Nobody wants to hear that,’ she said resignedly.
