Cara Delevingne puts on an animated display as she cheers Chelsea FC to victory in a personalised football shirt… amid her Cabaret success

On Thursday night, Cara Delevingne took a well-deserved break from performing in Cabaret, amid her successful West End stage debut.

The actress, 31, put on an animated show in a personalized football shirt as she watched Chelsea FC beat Manchester United 4-3 at Stamford Bridge.

To keep warm, Cara wore a blue hat and white long-sleeved top under her blue home kit, which had her surname embroidered on the back.

The British star spent the first half of the match in the owners’ box, before enjoying the second half in a £4,000 seat in the dugout.

Completely immersed in the exciting atmosphere, Cara hoisted her blue and white scarf above her head and shouted her team to victory from the sidelines.

The Blues completed a stunning comeback win over Manchester United in the final Premier League match of the midweek fixtures on Thursday.

Man U looked like they were in control of the game and came back from 2-0 down to lead 3-2.

But they threw away the lead when Cole Palmer scored twice deep into stoppage time to give Chelsea a 4-3 victory.

Palmer’s final goal, his third of the match, came when Chelsea took a short corner, giving the England man space to shoot and scoring from a deflection off Scott McTominay.

Meanwhile, Cara recently made her stage debut as Sally Bowles in London’s famous West End Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club.

The actress took over the character after Rebecca Lucy Taylor, aka Self Esteem, ended her run with the Kander and Ebb musical, which focuses on Berlin’s underground club scene between the Jazz Age and the rise of Nazi Germany.

While Cara has already made a name for herself in the acting world by appearing in films such as Anna Karenina, Paper Towns, Suicide Squad and Tulip Fever, Cabaret marks her West End debut.

In the role of Sally Bowles – made famous by Liza Minnelli in the 1972 film version – Cara follows in the footsteps of Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley who previously played the role.

She appears alongside Olivier award-winning Luke Treadaway, who stars as The Emcee in the iconic play.

The duo will perform for three months, from March 11 to June 1, 2024.

Speaking ahead of her exciting new stint, Cara said: ‘There are no words to explain the excitement I have as I return home to make my stage debut in such an iconic role.

‘I am so inspired by the brilliant actors who have played Sally in previous productions around the world and in this one in the West End. I can’t wait to be part of this brilliant cast and production.”
