Kenyan celebrities Wiily Paul and Mulamwah have both condemned cross-dressing acts being portrayed by various famous personalities.
Cross-dressing has become the norm among celebrities with the likes of Bahati and Kinuthia appearing to trend because of the same antics. However, not every celebrity is on board with the cross-dressing act.
For instance, Mulamwah took pride in being one of the few Kenyan comedians who are yet to dress like women in their skits but still manage to make it work. Mulamwah respected the fact that everyone had the freedom to do their thing but added that men didn’t need to dress like women since it sent the wrong message to young men.
“Where did the behavior of men wearing skirts come from?” “It is slowly becoming normal.” “If you have influence, use it like a mirror for our society.” “Kudos to the medians who trend without wearing lady clothes.” “We aren’t that many.” Mulamwah said.
Willy Paul, on the other hand, seemed to be directing his message toward Bahati. Bahati has recently dressed like a woman while performing one of his brand endorsements and Pozee was quick to point out that he would not do similar things to trend.
“It’s not a must for me to wear skirts so people can listen to my music.” “Staying true to my African culture.” “Thank you Salome for raising a real man,” Pozee said.
