Mendes and her boyfriend first met while working on the set of the upcoming romantic comedy, Musica.
The YouTube personality not only leads the cast of the feature film, but also serves as director and co-wrote the script.
Before she started dating her current boyfriend, the actress was in a relationship with cinematographer Ian Wallace, which lasted from 2013 to 2017.
Mendes was then linked to her Riverdale costar Charles Melton, and the pair maintained an on-off relationship that lasted until 2021.
She eventually moved on with Mancuso, and the pair sparked dating rumors when they accompanied each other to the Venice Film Festival in September 2022.

The actress opened up about her dating history during an episode of the Going mental podcast, in which she stated that she quickly built a close relationship with her boyfriend, whom she did not name at the time.
“I feel like I’ve known him all my life, and I’ve never really felt that before,” she said.
Mendes also spoke about her tendency to let the public know about each of her romantic partners.
“I love as much as I love, I always want to show off my loved one… it makes me so mushy,” she said.
