A sixth-grade girl was brutally attacked by another student at a California high school, with the attack all captured on cellphone video.
The apparently unprovoked attack happened just before 3 p.m. last Thursday in Riverside County at Arizona Middle School.
In the attack, the victim is ambushed by a classmate by pulling her hair and then viciously punching her in the face. The beating seemed to last almost two minutes before someone intervened.
Fellow students at the school stood by and watched, or took out their phones to film what was happening in front of them as the girl was beaten.

The victim’s mother, known as Jazmin, revealed that the altercation stemmed from a dispute over a boy, leaving her daughter bruised and traumatized.
The disturbing videos obtained by KTL sees the moments just before the attack began, with the attacker apparently being teased by a friend.
“I’m scared, my heart is pounding,” the girl was heard saying in the video.
“Just fight her. She’s not going to do things,” one antagonist can be heard saying.
“Should I just start pulling her hair?” the girl asks.
The victim’s mother, known as Jazmin, revealed how the confrontation stemmed from an argument over a boy and suddenly escalated into physical violence, leaving her daughter bruised and traumatized.
Despite the severity of the incident, no school staff intervened during the attack, which only added to the victim’s suffering.
“No one came to help my daughter; not a single student came to stop this. So she was left alone,” Jazmin told the channel.

The attacker has now been deported from the country due to her violent actions
“I couldn’t even watch the full video. It was really difficult. I just thank God that my daughter is alive.”
By the time Jazmin arrived at school to talk to her daughter, who was visibly shaken and in tears, she noticed her face was swollen and some of her hair had been pulled out.
‘At that moment I just held her and hugged her. I have seen several things on social media where children are being brutally attacked and murdered,” Jazmin said.
The girl was taken to hospital, where a police report was filed.
When her mother sought answers from school officials about her daughter’s safety, she received only vague assurances.

“They just tell me that you can bring your daughter back tomorrow and I can assure you that your daughter will be fine,” Jazmin said.
School authorities say they have punished the perpetrator, who may face criminal charges pending the outcome of an investigation, but Jazmin remains dissatisfied with the school’s response.
‘I want to see justice. “I want justice for my daughter because I feel like it’s another fight and they’re sweeping everything under the rug,” she said.
She has now withdrawn her daughter from Arizona Middle School.
The attacker is also no longer enrolled at the school having been expelled as a result of her violent outburst.

The 16-year-old suffered a skull fracture and frontal lobe damage during a violent brawl that was caught on camera near her high school in St. Louis on March 8.
In a damning statement released through their lawyer, Kaylee’s family members said they won’t know the extent of her injuries until she wakes up.
The family added that they want “justice through the legal system” but implored other teens not to seek revenge on the girl who attacked Kaylee.
They confirmed that Kaylee “suffered a skull fracture that resulted in brain bleeding and swelling” and that she remains unconscious 10 days later.
