Bronny, who starred on Prime Video‘s Top Class: The Life and Times of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers, is now in stable condition, TMZ reports.

According to the outlet, a call was placed to 911 at 9:26 am Monday (July 24) from USC’s Galen Center. The young basketball star was then taken to the hospital while he was still unconscious.

According to a spokesperson for the family, the incident happened while Bronny was at practice.

“Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information,” the spokesperson told TMZ.

They continued, “LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

Bronny recently committed to the USC Trojans and is expected to play in the NBA after graduating from Sierra Canyon High School this spring.

As a high school student, he was featured in the Amazon Prime Video series Top Class, which followed Bronny and his star-studded high school basketball team as they competed for the championship. Zaire Wade, son of NBA player Dwayne Wade, was also on the team.

The team is known for being loaded with notable NBA prospects. So much so, actress Vivica A. Fox mentioned in the documentary that the team can “sell out arenas and fill arenas that even pro teams can’t fill in.”

Lebron has expressed that he wants to play alongside his son in the NBA.

“My last year will be played with my son,” he told The Athletic in 2022. “Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.”

Top Class is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
