Britney Spears and Sam Asghari 'no longer speaking and only communicate via their legal team as split gets ugly'

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are letting their attorneys do the talking amid their pending divorce.

The couple, who announced their split August 17, are no longer living in the same home and have ceased all communication, according to TMZ.

According to insiders, their relationship turned ‘really nasty’ after Sam departed the residence and they haven’t communicated with one another since his exit.

The estranged couple have now left all communication up to their legal teams, who have been handling any negotiations and other issues for the pair.

According to court documents, the Special Ops: Lioness actor, 29, cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for wanting to end the 14 month marriage.

He is asking for spousal support and for Britney, 41, to cover his legal fees. 

The Grammy winner spoke out late Friday for the first time, posting a long statement next to a dance video on Instagram. 

‘As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business !!!’ she wrote adding, ‘But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!!’

The Circus singer contended, ‘I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that !!!’

‘I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but some reason I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses !!! 

She blamed her troubled upbringing writing, ‘If I wasn’t my dad’s strong soldier, I would be sent away to places to get fixed by doctors !!!’

The couple met when Sam starred in Britney’s 2016 Slumber Party video, while she was still under the 13-year conservatorship. 

The pair walked down the aisle last June in a small but lavish ceremony that included guests such as Selena Gomez, Madonna, Paris Hilton, Donatella Versace and Drew Barrymore.

Problems:  The insider said the couple ‘have had problems for a while and all of the drama surrounding Britney was incredibly hard for Sam to take’

Britney has reportedly hired prominent divorce attorney Laura Wasserman to handle her side of negotiations. 

On Thursday, TMZ reported that Sam had suspected the Grammy-winning singer had cheated on him with a staffer at the Southern California home they shared, and that video footage shot on the property implicates Britney in being unfaithful.

Sam was suspicious that Britney – described as being in ‘a fragile and hyper-sexualized state’ – had also asked a staffer to film her while she was naked.

It’s unclear if the staffer she allegedly asked to film her is also the same person she is reported to have cheated with.

Britney’s alleged behavior was described by a source to the outlet as risky ‘to her own safety;’ and that her infidelity was what persuaded Sam to move forward in his divorce filing.
