This is the breathtaking moment father and daughter paratroopers witnessed the total solar eclipse in mid-air on Monday after jumping 13,000 feet from a plane over Texas.

Footage shows the pair traveling in a plane from the Dallas Skydiving Center as they prepare to make the jump back to Earth.

If the skydive itself was exciting enough for the duo, they would have been even more enthralled by the opportunity to view the total solar eclipse – which passed over North America on Monday – as they descended.
