De Bruyne on the move?

According to Mail Sport’s Jack Gaughan, City are close to making a bid for Saudi Pro League star Kevin De Bruyne.

De Bruyne is seen as the player who can further increase the appeal of the competition and officials are trying to lure him away.

The playmaker’s contract expires at the end of the season and talks over a new contract with the Treble winners have not yet started.

City supporters – give us your thoughts in the comments!

Bite of the cherry

Manchester City will certainly be optimistic about this.

They have won all thirteen league games against Bournemouth – the best 100 percent record by one team against another in top flight history.

The hosts are also winless in six matches (D3, L3), having won six and drawn one of their previous seven. However, they have definitely improved.

All in all, we’re ready for an intriguing showdown!

De Bruyne on the bench

Manchester City made three changes tonight.

Nathan Ake, Matheus Nunes and Mateo Kovacic are all-in, while Kyle Walker, Julian Alvarez and Oscar Bobb drop out.

Kevin De Bruyne is among the substitutes.

Ake is obviously a real favorite at Bournemouth.

Back to you!

It’s that time of the evening! Let us know who you think starts today.

The city is literally and figuratively in a very healthy position.

There were question marks over Jack Grealish but he was caught getting off the City team bus outside Vitality Stadium.

Will Kevin De Bruyne be fit enough to start?

Bournemouth has several absentees. Five players will be missing, including Max Aarons, Philip Billing and Tyler Adams.

Sun on the south coast

It’s absolutely beautiful in Bournemouth today.

There is a bit of a bite in the air (unfortunately it is still February), but the sun is shining and any rain on the ground is starting to dry.

What an afternoon for a game of top football, eh?

The home team is already on the ground. Dominic Solanke, a target for West Ham, took pictures before entering the entrance.

Only 10 minutes until team news.

Can City close the gap?

Manchester City is not used to this. This year they have to catch up!

Pep Guardiola’s team is four points behind leaders Liverpool in second place, but still has a game in hand.

And with the Reds out of league action this weekend, City will be keen to stay on their heels with a win tonight.

I wonder if Guardiola and his side are enjoying this?

Of course, last season they ended up going after Arsenal. However, Liverpool are another team that has been there and done it.

Don’t count out the Gunners either. They are just one point behind the champions and play Newcastle later tonight.

You simply can’t slip up in this incredible three-player title race.

Good afternoon!

The Premier League matches keep coming your way today!

I love days like these when you can watch football, whether at home with the family or with your friends in the pub.

City want to stay within striking distance of Liverpool at the top as they travel to Bournemouth for today’s match at 5.30pm.

They are expected to win tonight having never dropped a point against the Cherries in the thirteen league games they have played against each other.

That said, we are always ready for surprises.

Stay with us here for the latest updates from Vitality Stadium.

Liverpool and Arsenal fans, are you watching? You should be!
