The Boston Bruins brought legendary singer Celine Dion into their locker room to read the starting lineup for the team’s game against the New York Rangers.
Dion grew up in Quebec, where the Montreal Canadiens reign supreme in a different country than their rival Bruins.
Yet Dion stepped into the middle of Boston’s dressing room and passionately read the lineup card as if it were her own concert.
“Thank you so much for getting ready for me tonight,” Dion began, catching the locker room attention of Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery.
With her sons in the locker room behind her, Dion did not stumble over the names of players. Instead, she knew all their nicknames to the Boston squad’s approval.

‘Agree! Up front, Heino!’ Dion sang, referring to Bruins winger Danton Heinen.
“You’re making me hungry, Pasta!” Dion shouted out to Boston’s David Pastrnak.
“My name starts with a C and we’re going to go with ‘C-Mac!’” Dion said, calling out Charlie McAvoy.
Dion was also featured on the jumbotron during the second period of the game, which drew a huge response from the crowd.
Dion ultimately did not become a good luck charm for the Bruins, who lost 5-2 to the Rangers.
