Naga Munchetty warned Saturday Kitchen host Matt Tebbutt that he was on ‘dangerous ground’ this weekend as he made a cheeky quip at her diet.
The BBC Breakfast host, 48, and the TV chef, 49, are known for their banter and for taking humorous swipes at each other, and the latest show was no different.
But Matt’s recent witty swipe at Naga almost landed him in trouble, with the broadcaster warning him to ‘be careful’.
The drama began as Naga, who was hosting Saturday’s show alongside Roger Johnson, crossed over for a link to Saturday Kitchen, before stating that she was ‘hungry’ as she hadn’t had her ‘second breakfast’.
As Roger, 54, expressed his surprise at her second morning meal, Naga insisted she ‘always has two breakfasts’.

She then went on to list what she eats in a day and astounded by her day’s diet, a giggling Matt couldn’t help but remark: ‘Wow! You can tuck it away can’t you!’
Naga was then quick to hit back saying: ‘I’d leave it there! Any more and you are on dangerous ground, and you don’t want to go there do you!’
As Matt, who was trying to suppress his laughter, then said: ‘let’s roll it back!’, Naga continued her mock anger as she told him: ‘I’d be careful!’
After finding the exchange amusing, Matt then got down to business to reveal what was coming up on his show.
In comes after Naga took a brutal swipe at Matt back in April after he begged her for ‘a bit of sparring.’
The interaction took place as Roger and Naga, prepared to cross over to the Saturday Kitchen studios to see what was coming up on the day’s show.
Turning to his co-star, Roger said: ‘We’re here until 10 O’clock this morning when your second favourite programme on a Saturday takes over Naga’, as she pulled a bemused face.
He continued: ‘Matt Tebbutt and the team in the Saturday Kitchen’, at which Naga then interjected: ‘Am I supposed to agree with you there?’

Uh oh! Naga was then quick to hit back saying: ‘ I’d leave it there! Any more and you are on dangerous ground, and you don’t want to go there do you!’
Giggling awkwardly, Roger replied: ‘Well I know you like a bit of Saturday Kitchen…’
As Naga went to say good morning to Matt via the link, the screen then cut to the chef with his hands up, looking rather disgruntled by Naga’s comments.
Laughing at his reaction, Naga said: ‘What are the hands in the air?’, with Matt remarking: ‘I’m waiting for the punchline!
‘Come on, hit me. I’m in the mood today!’

As he and Roger began to laugh, Matt exclaimed: ‘Oh there it is! There it is. Ow, that hurt!’
