Bayern Munich’s match against Union Berlin on Saturday afternoon has been postponed due to heavy snow.
The Bundesliga match, which pitted second-placed Bayern against second-placed Union, was due to start at 2.30pm (GMT) at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
However, heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures caused the match to be postponed.
Local transport had also been canceled due to the bad weather – including trains to and from Munich – while authorities decided to suspend flights until at least noon.
Temperatures are expected to drop to -13 degrees this weekend, with snow falling throughout Friday night and Saturday.

Before the news was confirmed, freelance Bundesliga reporter Archie Rhind-Tutt said posted on X that the club had informed journalists not to travel to the ground.
Thomas Tuchel’s team, who trained in the snow on Friday, are currently second in the league, two points behind the surprising top team Bayer Leverkusen.
They remain unbeaten with ten wins and two draws, but the postponement could potentially allow Leverkusen to extend their lead at the top when they host Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Union have endured a torrid campaign after a fairytale run that took them from Bundesliga 2 to the Champions League in recent years.

With nine defeats from their first eleven league games, they parted ways with long-term boss Urs Fischer last month.
They have also been knocked out of the Champipons League after failing to win any of their five group matches.
Despite their dismal start, they remain just two points clear of safety and last week appointed former Lech Poznan, Dinamo Zagreb and Trabzonspor boss Nenad Bjelica as their new boss.
There are four more Bundesliga matches scheduled for Saturday, which are still going ahead.
