Bahati comforts Diana amid internet trolls

Kenyan musician Bahati has penned down a heartwarming message of comfort to his wife, Diana Marua, in the wake of intense online trolling.

Through his Instagram page, the singer reminded Diana of her worth and popularity, urging her to dismiss what he describes as negativity that sometimes accompanies online fame.

“I know You’ve been on the Headlines Trending, I Know it really doesn’t bother you but I thought I should remind you One thing before you sleep::: You are a Star!!! I wish I would have been there to tell you this Face to Face but I’m out of town for a Business meeting; Coming back to Nairobi Tomorrow,” he wrote in part.

Bahati who is away on a business trip reminded his wife that she is loved and appreciated and conveyed his unwavering support.

While expressing pride for how successful Diana is in content creation industry, the artiste also showed his regret for exposing his wife to the limelight, acknowledging that fame does come with its challenges.

However, Bahati maintained that Diana’s success and influence were part of a greater plan, suggesting that she was destined for a life in the public eye.

He praised Diana’s impressive achievements, highlighting her status as the most subscribed and followed YouTube content creator in East Africa. He also mentioned the strong support she receives from her dedicated fan base.

“At times I feel Sorry and regret forcing you to the limelight, at times I want to ask you for forgiveness for exposing you to this ruthless side of the world but looking at things Babe; This was God’s Plan, You were created for this!!! Look at your Numbers!!! You came just the other Day and you’re now the most Subscribed and Followed YouTube content Creator in East Africa,” he said.

“Babe your Success and influence is undeniable, Unavoidable and Unthinkable. Even those that hate you will agree that they Respect You,” he added.

“Babe, I love you,” Bahati concluded.

In the wake of fiery trolls, the couple addressed the viral manipulated family portrait that has been doing rounds on the internet.

Taking to their Instagram page, Bahati and Diana expressed their intention to capitalize on the attention they garnered over the infamous portrait.

The couple has chosen not to be dismayed by the situation, instead using it as an opportunity to leverage the attention for their own gain.

“We are The Bahati’s… We are the news makers!!! Leo wanasemaje???” they shared.

What initially began as a seemingly innocent family photo soon transformed into a source of ridicule, courtesy of a photoshopped image featuring well-known male celebrities.

The rumours gained attention, particularly around Kenyan footballer Victor Wanyama, who was depicted in the manipulated image with the couple’s adopted son, Morgan Bahati.

Wanyama was quick to respond to this long-standing rumours issuing a stern warning.

“This foolishness needs to stop now!” Wanyama wrote.

The rumour about Diana and the footballer being involved romantically stems from an old photo that the two posed for long before Diana was married to Bahati.
