Latrell Mitchell announced the arrival of his first son on Friday after his long-term partner and wife Brielle Mercy gave birth to a happy and healthy baby boy.
Mitchell and Mercy both posted the news on social media on Friday.
It is their third child together and their first son.
No name has been announced yet, but the bundle of joy will be a welcome sibling for Inala and Aleena.
‘Prince of @winmarra01 has arrived!’ Mitchell posted along with a heart emoji.

Winmarra Clothing is the Souths superstar’s label, which means ‘Mountain People’.
A large number of teammates were quick to congratulate Mitchell and his family.
“Congratulations fam, can’t wait to meet him,” Cody Walker wrote.
“Congratulations guys,” Cameron Murray added.
“Nice bra,” Isaiah Tass posted.
Several other NRL stars also offered their well wishes, including Penrith flyer Brian To’o, former Sharks enforcer Andrew Fifita and former NRL player Malakai Watene-Zelezniak.

Mitchell posted this image hours after sharing an image of his new son, but it could be for sponsorship purposes
Just hours after his son’s birth, Mitchell posted an image on social media enjoying the water on his jet ski.
It is not known if Mitchell took the opportunity to celebrate or if it was a previously agreed upon sponsorship deal.
Mitchell is an ambassador for the BRP Can-Am and Sea-Doo brands.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs also posted their congratulations, with a photo of Latrell’s new arrival and the note: ‘Congratulations to Latrell and Brielle on the birth of their son! Welcome at the [world] young fellow.’
That led to an outpouring of well wishes from NRL fans for the young family.
“Congratulations to you both, he’s a beautiful baby, enjoy welcoming little one,” one fan wrote.
“Awww congratulations Trell & Brielle, he’s absolutely gorgeous,” another added.
‘Congratulations guys! What a cute little guy,” another posted.
