Australia Zoo matriarch Terri Irwin embraces her son Robert and his girlfriend Rorie Buckey as they jet into Melbourne for a family trip
Robert Irwin’s new girlfriend Rorie Buckey reportedly had to win over his family by having a willingness to get out into nature.
And it seems, Robert’s mother Terri Irwin has been impressed by her efforts and is welcoming her with open arms.
On Friday, the 59-year-old Irwin matriarch embraced her son and his girlfriend as they jetted into Melbourne.
The trio carried their belongings as they walked through the airport after getting off the plane.
Terri appears to be very close with her sons new girlfriend, as the three of them were spotted sweetly hugging in the terminal.

They all masked-up as Rorie, who is the niece of the late Heath Ledger, looked stylish in an all black ensemble.
She donned a pair of black baggy jeans, a black long-sleeved top and white trainers.
The physiotherapy student kept her shoulder-length blonde locks down in a loose wave as she accessorised with a straw hat and a black cross-body bag.

Robert and Rorie went unmasked outside the airport, but made sure to protect themselves once they were inside
They all masked-up as they made their way through the airport
Despite being off-duty, Robert looked every inch the Australia Zoo worker as he wore a monochromatic khaki look.
He strutted through the terminal in a pair of khaki straight-leg jeans and a polo top as he carried a matching coloured jacket.
Meanwhile, Terri looked cool but comfortable for the short-haul flight as she donned a pair of denim jeans, a maroon shirt and a long black coat.
The trio looked happy as they made their way to an awaiting car.
While Robert and Rorie only recently went public with their relationship, they have been dating since November 2022.

This is despite them living on opposite sides of the country, with Robert in Queensland and Rorie in Western Australia, where she studies in Perth’s prestigious Curtin University.
They both come from famous Australian families, as Robert is the son of late conservationist Steve ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin while Rorie is the niece of the late Oscar winning actor Heath Ledger.
According to Woman’s Day, an insider said Terri and Robert’s sister Bindi, 25, have been impressed by Rorie’s dedication to Australian wildlife.
They added that Rorie was ‘determined to not let Robert down and show him – and his mum and sister – that she’s not just some puff piece. And she blew them away.’
