Usher Caddy has offered a rare insight into her 10-year marriage to artist husband Vincent Fantause as she discussed how the couple met.
The actress, 48, revealed in the November issue Marie Claireshe met Vincent after her agent convinced her to let him paint her portrait.
She explained that while Vincent was taking her picture, he was looking over the camera and they locked eyes.
“He still does those eyes above the camera; he’s very charming,” she said.
Usher went on to say that the couple love co-parenting their children because it gives them a “sense of togetherness.”

“What we enjoy most – and I know we both feel this way – is sharing parenting. I love the sense of community we have in parenting them and being a part of their lives,” she added.
She also shared a glimpse of the couple’s family life with their son Valentino and Vincent’s 11-year-old son Luke from his previous marriage.
“I take care of things when I get home … but we have different roles in the house and as long as the kids come first, everything falls into place,” she added.

The couple welcomed their own son, Valentin, in March 2015.
Vincent’s famous works include striking portraits of Julia Gillard, Baz Luhrmann and Heath Ledger, and his work highlighting the depth of Ledger’s mental struggle was revealed a month after his death in 2008.
The artist has a hotel in Brisbane named after him, which is filled with his paintings.
A four-time Archibald People’s Choice Award-winning artist, Vincent likes to spend time with his subjects before painting them, adding a personal touch to his creative idea before putting brush to canvas.
