He stated, “I’ve been back in LA for a couple of weeks now. This is my truck. I bought this for myself in 2017 as a Christmas gift because I’ve had pickup trucks for a long time, and I have loved this truck intensely.”

He clarified, “This is not an ad for Carmax. This is because I am selling my truck.” Hammer revealed the significant amount he has spent on gas since returning to LA. He said, “Since being back in LA, I have put about four or five hundred dollars worth of gas in it, and I can’t afford it. I can’t afford the gas anymore.”
He shared how the truck had become significant to him, taking it on camping trips and cross-country road trips. He added, “But ya know what? That’s okay. That’s okay. I got a new car. It’s tiny. It’s a hybrid. I’m probably going to put about 10 bucks a gas in it a month and this is it.”
Hammer continued, “So I have to clean all of this stuff out, you know, all kinds of sh*t. But that’s okay. I will be starting my birthday in a new car in a new apartment in a new life in Los Angeles.”
The actor also noted the advantages of having a smaller car, such as easier parking and cheaper fuel. This news follows Hammer’s revelation that despite being ‘broke’, he is ‘happier than ever’ after the controversy.
Speaking as a guest on the Club Random Podcast with Bill Maher earlier this year, Hammer said, “The good place only comes from walking through hell. It was a brutal experience.” He added, “I’ve never been happier than I’ve ever been in my entire life.”
