Ariana Grande dumps Scooter Braun too: Hollywood manager’s career in crisis as 7 Ringers singer joins Demi Lovato and J Balvin in severing ties… but Justin Bieber insists he’s standing by him

Ariana Grande is the latest artist who has decided to part ways with Hollywood manager Scooter Braun and his company SB Projects.

The news that the 7 Rings hitmaker, 30, split from her longtime manager, 42, which was confirmed by Billboard on Monday, came on the same day it was revealed that singer Demi Lovato has also decided to part ways with Braun.

Grande’s business relationship with Braun spans all the way back to her debut album, Yours Truly, which was released in 2013.

Under Braun’s management Ariana has released a total of six albums, with five of them hitting No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

It’s not clear at the moment whether Grande is severing all business ties with the manager.

Grande has not released an album since 2020’s Positions.

With the upcoming 10th anniversary of Yours Truly, the singer is planning a deluxe digital release of the album this Friday.

It will also include newly recorded live performances of Honeymoon Avenue and Daydreamin’.

Outside of music Grande has been busy with her acting career and will star in the film adaptation of musical Wicked, with the first part set to be released in November of 2024.

Earlier in the day DailyMail.com confirmed that Lovato ended her working relationship with Scooter Braun.

The 31-year-old singer and the music mogul are parting ‘amicably,’ Billboard first reported that same day.

The reason for the professional split is currently unclear, though Braun’s recent warm social media post wishing Lovato — who is nonbinary and uses she/her and they/them pronouns interchangeably — a happy birthday indicates that he holds no ill will toward them.

Representatives for Lovato and Braun declined to comment to DailyMail.com.

The news is oddly timed, as it comes after Justin Bieber, who is possibly Braun’s most high-profile client, was forced to deny that he was planning to drop Braun and was searching for new management.

However, Lovato and Braun ended their working relationship a month ago, preceding the rumors about Bieber.

A spokesperson for both Bieber and Braun later denied Puck News’ report in a statement to DailyMail.com.

Lovato signed with Braun and his SB Projects firm in 2019, and before that she was managed by Phil McIntyre of PhilyMack.

She celebrated the moment she signed with Braun’s company with photos of herself and Braun grinning ear-to-ear after signing their contracts.
