New rock festival Pandemonium Rocks is canceled this year.
The hard/punk rock concert has been forced to cancel its upcoming tour of shows just a month before it was set to begin.
However, tickets are still being sold on the festival’s website.
Blondie, Alice Cooper, Placebo, Deep Purple, Wheatus and The Psychedelic Furs were among the headline acts scheduled to perform on two stages, along with Australian band Wolfmother.
Event promoters called Pandemonium Australia’s hottest new rock festival and “a rock fan’s dream come true.”

The festival was expected to kick off in Melbourne on April 20 before moving to Sydney, the Gold Coast and Bribie Island.
Pandemonium Rocks is one of many music festivals being canceled this year. Groovin the Moo announced last month that its festivals in regional Australia would not go ahead in 2024, citing poor ticket sales.
More to come.
