Anna Paul’s father Hanns has dismissed claims that he is homeless and that his daughter does not support him financially despite earning millions as a social media star.
Hanns is a nomad and lives and travels through Australia in a modest van.
Rumors circulated on Monday that Hanns is struggling to live out of his van, while his daughter lives a lavish life full of foreign travel, fast cars and expensive jewelry.
Hanns released a statement on Instagram on Tuesday, decrying the “gossip” and praising his daughter for being so supportive of his “dream” lifestyle.
“It has come to my attention that there is toxic misinformation regarding my personal life and my relationship with my family,” he wrote.

“This is just to set the record straight. I lived MY dream and my daughter has been nothing but supportive.”
He continued, “If you look at my Instagram feed, you will easily discover that I have traveled the world over the past few years and I don’t want for anything.
‘I am very proud of what my daughter Anna has achieved and the person she has become!
“If there’s anything to take away from this, it’s that idle gossip only causes pain. Don’t participate! Now back to my family vacation.’
Followers of Anna and her father, who recently holidayed together in Germany, were divided as they flocked to the comments on Hann’s recent Instagram post on Monday.
Hanns, who is currently in Miami with his daughter Anna, shared innocent photos and videos of a pelican hunting for food while strolling along a beautiful beach.

One follower began the comments by asking directly if Hanns was broke, homeless and not financially supported by his own daughter.
He immediately denied the accusations, writing, “That’s insane. I’m in Miami now. My daughter is the best.’
Others continued to criticize Anna, with one person writing: ‘Anna is such a grub. From lying about growing up poor to now treating her father this way, and yet she still buys her ex a car for 100,000. I’m sure she could surprise her dad and upgrade his van if he wanted to live his life this way.”
Another said: ‘You’d think his daughter would at least buy him a nicer van.’
“So you’re homeless, you can’t afford a bottle of water, while your OWN BLOOD is bathed in money, leaving you to live in a van. Terrible family you have, you can’t even lie. They should support you no matter what you have done in the past. No father or anyone for that matter should be left in a van,” a third added.

Yet another commented: “I hope you are doing well. It’s not fair that they use you for your image while they’re filming and then just let you wrestle again.”
Many followers rushed to Anna’s defense, saying it was ridiculous that people would ever believe such a rumor if Hanns had been open about his desire to live the ‘van life’ while traveling the world.
One person wrote: ‘This is so funny because if I had Anna’s money I KNOW my dad wouldn’t want to live in nice houses and would like to live in the wilderness on his own terms. Why do people act as if Hanns isn’t a grown man with his own wants/needs in life?’
Another said: ‘(Her father) is living his dream here and you all feel sorry for him. If he was an influencer promoting van life in his 20s, you’d eat it up.”
A third added: “Guys he posted years ago saying he felt liberated by selling his house and traveling in a van, leave them alone.”

Anna has declined to make an official statement about the speculation.

The allegations come just a few weeks after Anna dropped a whopping $200,000 on buying a car for her ex-boyfriend Glen Thompson.
They split in August last year after eight years together, and last month she shocked her fans by surprising 24-year-old Glen with a very expensive Nissan GT-R.
The social media star shared a three-minute video to show her ex’s reaction and how the surprise unfolded.
After dinner with both her and Glen’s family, the social media personality led her ex to his new set of wheels.
Glen seemed shocked and almost in tears when Anna opened the car and handed him a set of keys.
Anna revealed that the GT-R, which can cost up to $400,000, was his dream car, saying: “He’s wanted this car all our lives.”
