Celebrated media personality Anita Nderu and her husband Barrett Raftery have celebrated their daughter Kaya Gacheri Raftery, after she turned one-year-old.
The young one’s birthday was infact on Saturday the 27th of August and like any other proud parents out there, the lovebirds also made sure that the milestone was marked in a memorable way.

Anita Nderu and Barrett Raftery infact threw baby Kaya Gacheri a lavish party and this was clear in the photos that Vanessa Mumbi Nderu shared on her Instagram stories few hours ago.
Vanessa who is the sister of the former NTV presenter gave her 12.5K followers a glimpse of the birthday party, and what was clear is that it was a colourful affair.

The venue was infact beautifully decorated with balloons and flowers of various colours and this was also the same for Kaya Gacheri’s birthday cake.

Aside from the beautiful party, Anita Nderu had also taken to her Instagram account earlier in the day to pamper her daughter with love on her birthday.
“During this wonderful morning at 3:48 am I gave birth to our wonderful Kaya. Watching her grow and learn new things has been the honor of a lifetime.
Happy Birthday to our favourite human. We will have so much today” She wrote.

In another post Anita Nderu reminisced her pregnancy days before she welcomed her baby a year ago.
In a long post, the sassy media personality disclosed that she misses those days because of how pregnancy made her more beautiful despite all the challenges that it came with.
Anita Nderu admitted that she infact misses the body changes so much that she is always envious of other expectant women whenever she sees them.
She also revealed that she may get another child again just because she misses that feeling and because she wants baby Kaya Gacheri to have a sibling.

Anita Nderu and Barrett Raftery however welcomed baby Kaya close to a year after they got married.
The couple infact exchanged their vows in September 2021 and theirs was a private wedding that went down in Nanyuki.
