Earlier this week on Tuesday, the actress was spotted getting into character as she filmed a scene while skating with Forte.

The co-stars had smiles on their faces as they glided across the ice wearing the same outfits they wore on Wednesday.

Since the comedy is still in the production stages, a firm release date has yet to be announced to expected fans.

Shortly before she started filming, Amy broke her silence last February to criticize her “puffy and swollen” face.

While celebrating the second season of her Hulu series, Life & Beth, she got candid about her appearance and revealed to fans and followers that she struggles with endometriosis and autoimmune diseases.

After she stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon in February, a clip quickly went viral on social media, with doctors asking the audience, “What happened to Amy’s face?”

Schumer took to Instagram to respond to comments about her appearance, writing, “Thank you so much for everyone’s input on my face!”

‘I have enjoyed feedback and consultation about my appearance, as all women have for almost twenty years. And you’re right: it’s thicker than normal right now.’

She added: ‘I have endometriosis, an autoimmune disease that every woman should read about. There are some medical and hormonal things going on in my world right now, but I’m doing well.”

‘Historically, women’s bodies have hardly been medically examined compared to men. The book “All in her head” explains this well. I also believe that a woman needs no excuse for her physical appearance and is not owed an explanation.”

‘But I wanted to take the opportunity to advocate for self-love and acceptance of the skin you’re in. Just like any other woman/person, some days I feel confident and good and other days I want to put a bag over my head. ‘

‘But I feel strong and beautiful and so proud of this TV show that I created. Wrote. Starring and directed. Maybe we can concentrate on that for a while.’

The actress concluded, “I had backup dancers on Fallon, but my face is still the headline, hahaha. I hope you enjoy life and Beth. Love and solidarity. Amy.’

Shortly afterwards, Amy discussed the critical comments further during an interview on the Not skinny but not fat podcast also last month.

“I think they’re angry that I’m not thinner, I think they’re angry that I’m not prettier, and I still feel like I have a right to speak,” she said.

“I guess they don’t want a woman to say anything – I mean, what woman has ever opened her mouth without being torn to shreds?”

“I could focus on that and it doesn’t feel good when the whole internet is mad at you. Don’t get me wrong: it doesn’t feel good and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone who doesn’t deserve it.’

However, she then revealed that she has Cushing’s syndrome and credited the speculation about her face with understanding that “something was wrong.”

According to Mayo Clinic, it occurs “when the body has too much of the hormone cortisol for an extended period of time.” Some symptoms include “a fatty lump between the shoulders, a round face, and pink or purple stretch marks on the skin.”

The actress told her fans about the diagnosis in Jessica Yellin’s News Not Noise newsletter.

As for why she spoke out, Amy said, “The shame and criticism of our ever-changing bodies is something I have dealt with and witnessed for a long time.”

‘I so want women to love themselves and be ruthless as they fight for their own health in a system that usually doesn’t believe them…’
