Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards had left subtle clues that her 27-year marriage to Mauricio Umansky was on the rocks in recent months.
The hints come in new light with reports Monday that the reality TV couple had parted ways amid rumors Richards, 54, has been seeing female country singer Morgan Wade, 28.
Richards and Wade ‘allegedly have matching heart tattoos,’ TMZ reported Monday.
Richards has been spotted not wearing her wedding ring in public, which both she and Umansky, 53, addressed in April, insisting at the time they were not getting divorced.
Dailymail.com has reached out to reps for Richards, Umansky and Wade for comment on the story.

Richards was pictured going ringless in the months ahead of the reported split, most notably on one outing in Studio City, California on February 23 not wearing the ring while out after a workout.
Richards also shared images to Instagram in which she did not have it on as she exercised.
Richards denied that marital problems not the reason she went without the ring while speaking with Page Six in April 18 in West Hollywood, California at an event in West Hollywood, California in which she was pictured with Wade.
‘It started all from a stupid picture of me without a ring on,’ Richards said of her February 23 outing.
At the event – in support of the National Alliance on Mental Illness at the Fleur Room – Richards said that she didn’t want to wear the expensive piece of jewelry amid rising crime rates in her native Los Angeles, as well as the logistics of the ring obstructing her weightlifting in the gym.
‘I haven’t been wearing my big diamond ring, because there’s a lot of crime these days and I’m like, “I’m not comfortable,”‘ Richards said. ‘And B, I had just come from the gym lifting weights, so I was like, “That thing sparked that?” I don’t know.’
Richards told the outlet that with more than a decade on the Bravo stalwart, she had grown a thick skin to rumors about her marriage to Umansky.
‘When this stuff would come up before, I would like, cry and I was devastated,’ Richards told the outlet. ‘But now, I’m more like, “OK, I’ve done this before. Let’s do this. Bring it on. Come on. Let’s see what you got for me here.”‘

Richards said that the rumors of martial strife – which are a focal point of the upcoming season of RHOBH – were ‘really frustrating’ and caused her anxiety on the topic.
‘Obviously, you don’t love that because when the show airs in six months, I will be dealing with this,’ she said of the series, which is expected to air on Bravo this fall. ‘And people are going to be talking again and more fake stories and lies.’
Umansky addressed the topic a week earlier on the April 10 edition of the podcast Two T’s In a Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge, calling the speculation ‘so dumb’ as he claimed there were no marital woes to speak of.
‘That one stupid story that came out there, and then the girls all, you know, decided to talk about it on the Housewives, and so now it’s a storyline,’ he said on the podcast.
He added, ‘So there’s definitely some stories out there and Kyle and I address it and we’ll take it from there. It is what it is.’
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality Dana Wilkey took to Instagram in August of 2022 giving exposure to fan speculation that Umansky had cheated on Richards with the show’s Dorit Kemsley.
Wilkey said of the rumors: ‘The fans can’t stop talking about this! Thoughts?’
Kemsley denied the allegations – saying there was ‘ZERO truth’ – and ripped Wilkey as ‘one of the thirstiest people [she’s] ever seen’ in her response on social media.
She added, ‘Kyle and Mau are our friends and my kids call them uncle and auntie. Do you think this is ok for my kids to see when it’s a disgusting lie? … It’s sad, pathetic and bound to bite you in the a** inevitably.’

A source told People Monday that Richards and Umansky ‘have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof,’ and ‘remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.’
Richards and Umansky wed in January of 1996 and share daughters Alexia, 27, and Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.

Richards did not acknowledge the split on social media Monday, as she put up a series of pictures of herself with her longtime friend Faye Resnick in a series of Instagram Stories posts to wish Resnick a happy 66th birthday.
Kyle’s fame preceded her spot on the Bravo series, as she’s Kathy Hilton’s sister and Paris Hilton’s aunt. Richards and her family stepped into the limelight in 2010 when she was a principle cast member of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The cast also included her sister Kim Richards, Adrienne Maloof, Camille Grammer, Taylor Armstrong and Lisa Vanderpump.
A dozen seasons later, only Kyle remains on the popular reality series (while Vanderpump has had tremendous success with her own spinoff Vanderpump Rules).
The 12th season of the series centered around Richards dealing with fragile family relationships – including with Kathy – while Umansky steadfastly supported her amid the tense time.
‘I have always just been 100 percent supportive of her, no matter what she does,’ Umansky told E! News in November. ‘If she wants to reconcile, I am all down for it. If she’s not ready to reconcile and she needs to just keep it going for a little bit, I support her a thousand percent.’

The timing of the split comes about a year and a half after the duo celebrated a marital milestone with their 25th wedding anniversary.
‘It means so much, and it’s something that we’re both incredibly proud of,’ Richards told Bravo Insider in November of 2021. ‘And for me, it’s one of my biggest accomplishments. I mean, I think it’s refreshing, in this town to be married 25 years is a really big deal. And we’re really proud to be good role models to our daughters.’
Umansky said that their marriage had ‘been great and beautiful’ and that the long time they were wed flew by.
‘To be quite honest, it feels easy and doesn’t feel like it’s been that long,’ he told Bravo Insider. ‘And, you know, I definitely intend to spend the rest of my life with her. So hopefully it’ll be at least another 25 years, and maybe another 50.’
