In January 2024, Khalwale celebrated his other daughter’s outstanding performance in the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Sharing the news on X shortly after then Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu released the results, the lawmaker expressed his pride as his daughter achieved a mean grade of B+ (plus) in the national exams.
The senator expressed his gratitude towards his family and his daughter’s former school for their support. He also shared a screenshot of her examination results.
“Congratulations, Gift Atubukha Khalwale! I extend my heartfelt thanks to my family, the entire St. Brigid’s High School-Kiminini community, and, above all, God for supporting my little Tubu to reach this significant milestone,” he shared then.
Khalwale is known for being open and sharing the achievements of his children on social media. He has frequently posted about their performances, celebrating their successes with his followers.
Dad to 17 kids
In February 2024, during a press conference, Senator Khalwale addressed the public’s persistent curiosity about the number of children he has fathered.
He revealed that he has four wives and 17 children.
He detailed the specifics of his family, starting with his first wife, Adelaide Khalwale, who passed away five years ago and is the mother of his first three children.
His second wife, Josephine Khalwale, has three children with him, including one who has graduated from university and two currently attending. He confidently stated that there had been no doubts about their paternity.
Gloria Khalwale, his third wife, is the mother of eight of his children, some of whom are in university while others are still in lower levels of education. He noted that their paternity has never been questioned.
Finally, his fourth wife, Diana Khalwale, has three children with him, all of whom are at lower levels of education. Senator Khalwale confirmed that there has been no dispute regarding their paternity.
