Jesinta Franklin has shared the heartbreaking loss of her beloved grandfather Arthur.

The 32-year-old model posted a photo gallery on Instagram on Monday to announce the sad news.

They captured themselves, husband Buddy and their two children, Tallulah and Rocky, as they celebrated Arthur’s life with her relatives on the Gold Coast.

‘Goodbye Arthur. Thursday morning we lost our grandfather, Arthur. He never wanted to be called anything other than Arthur and that’s how we knew him,” she wrote in the caption.

“Arthur and Grandma lived with us almost as long as I can remember. We are a very close family that grew up together under one roof. We have spent the last four days celebrating his life.”

‘You have finally been reunited with Grandma in heaven, we knew how much you missed her and how lonely the past three years have been for you. Take care of each other, wherever you are, until we all meet again,” she added.

Many of Jesinta’s famous friends were quick to express their condolences to her during this difficult time.

“Sending you love,” influencer Pia Muehlenbeck wrote, while stylist Lana Wilkinson added: “I’m sorry for your loss. Sending love to you and your family.”

Jesinta has previously revealed the major role family plays in her life.

Earlier this month she opened up about how she is adjusting to life on the Gold Coast after Buddy left the AFL last year.

Speaking to the Courier mailJesinta said she and Buddy, 37, are enjoying a slower lifestyle with their two young children after moving from Sydney.

‘It’s nice to relax for a while. Nineteen years was a lot and we are literally enjoying life, no pressure, no stress,” she said.

“Lulu starts preparing next year, so we have that precious time with the kids.”

Buddy, meanwhile, told the publication that he’s “feeling good” and “a lot less stressed” now that he has more time to spend with his family.

The couple married in 2016 and share two children, Tullulah, three, and Rocky, two.
