An Elden Ring Nightrein player has managed to complete a run alone without leveling the whole way through.
Elden Ring Nightrein lets you play co-op with friends if you’d like to experience navigating the world and defeating enemies together. Having extra helping hands, combined with using the best build, can increase your chances of surviving until the last day.
It’s definitely a different story for solo players, though. After all, there’s only so much you can do when you’re alone.
However, YouTuber ‘Youwy’ has just shown that it’s entirely possible. You just have to be really good.

In the 47-minute YouTube video, Youwy was seen using the Executor, utilizing its high Arcane starting stat and katana, as well as the Night of Miasma and Night of the Wise relics for the poison, bleed, and frost buildup effects.
Being only level 1 for the rest of the game, he didn’t just take advantage of his build and beast form, but played it smart on the whole. To complete this run, he also had to unlock three Flask Charges by visiting churches for more healing, but all the effort was definitely worth it in the end.
He kept his cool even though he was being swarmed with multiple enemies, luring them one by one to finish them off while dodging all sorts of attacks from almost every direction.
Ultimately, it all led to Day 3, where he eventually had to face off against the Darkdrift. Using chilling mist and taking advantage of the poison from the weapon, he would apply Frost to trigger Frostbite and continue to deliver blows and evade the AoEs.
Many in the comments found this impressive. One user even joked: “Only a matter of time before we get the-starter-level-one-no-upgrade-blindfolded-three-player-but-only-one-is-playing-controlled-via-dancepad-controlled-by-a-one-legged-golfish-on-a-unicycle-in-a-sensory-deprivation-chamber-hitless-run.”
Perhaps, it will indeed only be a matter a time until we see someone playing the game with a dance pad or a controller in one hand.
