Drake is set to have his own radio station in Grand Theft Auto 6, according to rapper Jermaine Dupri, and it will feature some unreleased music.
The music in Grand Theft Auto has always been a key part of the iconic franchise. Everyone has a favorite radio station from each game that they love to go back to and pick out different tracks from.
As the wait for GTA 6 has gone on, there have been a number of claims about the music in-game. The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’ has regularly popped up as a song fans want to hear, and there have been leaks about DJ Khaled and Joe Rogan potentially featuring with their own radio stations.
Using popular artists has been a favorite move of Rockstar’s, with Frank Ocean getting his own ‘Blonded Radio’ in Grand Theft Auto 5. So, it would make sense to continue that in GTA 6.
Drake radio station in GTA 6 leaked
Well, according to rapper Jermaine Dupri, Drake is set to have his own station in the new game, and it will play unreleased music.
“They were asking me to do Grand Theft Auto and they were saying like Drake got his own radio station in Grand Theft Auto,” he told New Rory & Mal in an interview on June 12.
“The way that they were getting ready to do it is Drake can actually upload music that we probably ain’t ever heard online or wherever else.”

As noted, Drake isn’t the only artist to have come up as having his own station in GTA 6. DJ Khaled’s apparent involvement was rumored back in February, and rapper Danny Brown has also been trying to get back into the mix.
Brown, who featured in GTA 5 as Yung Ancestor, said he’s ‘hopeful’ that Rockstar would have him back for the new game.
His character’s logo does feature in the second trailer for GTA 6, and there does appear to be a big story focus on music. So, we’ll just have to wait and see how things shake out.
