And when a 21-year-old YouTuber from Bandra (West) discovered that private films of him were appearing online, he was put in this predicament.
A friend who happened to come across the recordings becoming popular on several social media sites provided the startling information.
A story published in the Times of India stated that a teenage YouTuber’s CCTV camera was compromised on November 17. After taking a bath, the YouTuber—who is also an eSports player—stepped out of his bathroom, and compromising video was secretly captured on camera.

On December 10, the victim discovered that the film had made its way onto social media.
The YouTuber subsequently reported the incident to the authorities, outlining the specifics of what transpired and how his privacy had been violated.

The complaint provided information about the incident and described how a hacker obtained unauthorized access to the CCTV camera that was mounted in his bedroom, which allowed the private film to be widely shared on social media sites like Telegram, Instagram, and others.
In response, the police have opened an inquiry, and the cyber squad is attempting to locate the IP addresses connected to the hack. According to reports, the victim believes that someone within his home is the culprit. His mother and sister were also included in nude videos that were leaked.

In addition, a request for assistance from the platforms hosting the compromising content has been made on social media to remove the film.
In view of the event, the police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) in accordance with sections 66 (C), 66 (E), and 76 (A) of the Information Technology Act as well as sections 500 and 501 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
