As I embark on my 30th year at the iconic KTLA TV5, I reflect on a journey marked by dedication, growth, and a passion for delivering top-notch news coverage. It has been an honor to contribute significantly to the success of the KTLA Morning News, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead in the next phase of my career.
🌟 Specialized Expertise:
Throughout my tenure, I’ve carved a niche for myself, specializing to a unique degree that has granted me longevity in the dynamic world of television broadcasting. My expertise shines particularly in live TV weather and traffic segments, seamlessly blending with breaking news coverage. Striking the right balance of information in a morning news broadcast has become second nature, contributing to the show’s continued success.
🔄 Adaptability and Re-branding:
I take pride in my ability to adapt to the ever-evolving landscape of broadcast media. Spearheading the re-branding efforts of the show has been one of my strong suits. Starting from scratch and building a successful show has equipped me with the skills to collaborate with graphic designers and management, implementing cutting-edge broadcast equipment and crafting engaging segments.
🎥 Digital Content Production:
Diversifying my skill set, I ventured into digital content production by creating two regular YouTube shows. “Street Cracks,” with over 40 episodes, showcased my proficiency in production, editing, and developing social media promotions. The second, “Mars Mission,” offered a personal expose on my weight loss journey. Navigating the challenges of generating views and working with social media has expanded my capabilities as a content creator.

My journey is backed by expert-level skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, The Weather Co. MAX Weather and Traffic Systems, Sony Vegas Professional Editing, ENPS, Microsoft Word, Windows, Internet Edge, and more.
