The talented Filipino-American singer, Olivia Rodrigo, has made her mark in history as her incredible comeback single “vampire” debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Olivia Rodrigo’s vampire replaces Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after having the spot for 13 weeks.

According to Billboard, Rodrigo’s “vampire” was streamed 35.5 million times and heard by 26.3 million people on the radio. It also sold 26,000 copies in its first week, which ended on July 6th, according to Luminate.

Rodrigo became the youngest artist in history to debut three singles at #1 on the Hot 100 (20 years old). She also became the first artist in history to debut the lead single from each of their first two albums at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The pop star reacts to “vampire” debuting at #1 on the Hot 100 by posting this week’s Billboard chart on her Instagram. “AHHHHH IM SO EXCITED AB THIS!!! thank you x1000 to everyone who bought and streamed vampire I love you!!!! and thank u to my amazing team,” Olivia Rodrigo wrote in her caption.

Rodrigo revealed last month that her new album, “GUTS” will be released on September 8th.
