Comedian and actress Nikki Glaser is set to ignite laughter once again with her latest HBO hour-long special, “NIKKI GLASER: SOMEDAY YOU’LL DIE,” premiering on SATURDAY, MAY 11 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT). The highly anticipated special will air on HBO and will also be available for streaming on Max.
Glaser bravely delves into a variety of topics, including her decision to remain childless, the trials of aging, her candid sexual fantasies, and even her contemplation of mortality, all delivered in her trademark uproarious, unapologetic, and brutally honest style. “NIKKI GLASER: SOMEDAY YOU’LL DIE” promises to illustrate why Glaser is regarded as one of the most daring and entertaining comedians of our time.
Glaser remarked, “I’m so grateful that once again, HBO has put their trust in me to say what I feel into a microphone while wearing a tiny dress. Someday I’ll die, and when I do, I hope I’m remembered for this performance (and this dress).”
Nina Rosenstein, EVP of HBO Programming, Late Night & Specials, expressed her enthusiasm for Glaser’s return, stating, “Nikki is at the top of her game and continues to fearlessly take on the most unexpected material in the most hilarious of ways. We are so happy to have her back for her second special with us.”
This isn’t Glaser’s first rodeo with HBO. In July 2022, she headlined her debut HBO comedy special, “Good Clean Filth,” which garnered a Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Comedy Special. Currently, Glaser is crisscrossing the globe with her stand-up tour “Nikki Glaser: The Good Girl,” which commenced in January 2023 and is slated to run through September 2024.
Beyond her stand-up prowess, Glaser’s creative footprint extends to podcasting with “The Nikki Glaser Podcast,” launched in March 2021 under iHeartMedia and Will Ferrell’s Big Money Players Podcast Network (BMP).
She also helms the hosting and executive producing duties for “Lovers and Liars” (formerly “FGirl Island”), a female-centric spinoff of the popular reality dating series “FBoy Island,” which she previously fronted for three seasons to critical acclaim on HBO Max and CW.
