His daughter, who had remained in the house as her mother went to hustle, recorded the whole incident and sent it online. Netizens were so angered that they reported the matter to the police.
As police launched a manhunt for him, his wife called police officer Sammy Ondimu Ngare and requested him not to arrest her husband as he was the sole provider of the family.
