Hailey Clifton-Carmack, a 26-year-old Laquey High School teacher, is in hot water after being accused of having sexual relations with a 16-year-old student. Clifton-Carmack was arrested after allegedly fleeing Missouri to live with family in Texas.
The arrest took place in Comal County (TX), where Clifton-Carmack is currently being held. In Pulaski County, she was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, statutory rape, having sexual contact with a student, and child molestation, all of which stemmed from the alleged inappropriate relationship.
Disturbingly, the victim’s father, identified as Mark Creighton, is also implicated and faces a charge of endangering with sexual conduct. Creighton admitted to being aware of the relationship between Clifton-Carmack and his son. He has been released on a $50,000 bond.
