Finally, Jorja Smith’s brand new album has arrived.
The British artist delivered her second studio album, Falling or Flying, on Friday, September 29th, through FAMM Records.
The new collection of her work consists of 16 tracks, which include previously released singles such as “Broken is the man” and “GO GO GO.”
The project starts off with a set of lively songs like “Try Me” and “Little Things,” then transitions into more melancholic records like her collaboration with J Hus on “Feelings” and “Greatest Gift” featuring Lila Ike.
Smith’s album was mainly produced by DAMEDAME*, P2J, New Machine, Blue May, and Jodi Milliner.
“I’m definitely flying right now, can’t believe you can all hear it,” Jorja Smith wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.
The Walsall singer also thanked everyone who helped bring her sophomore album to life.
“Thank you for coming on this journey with me. @damedameofficial, thank you for bringing me home, the laughs, the tears, the meals, and opening up your hearts to create this album,” Smith says. “Not enough words ever really. Can’t believe it’s out. Big love to @p2jmusic always. Falling or Flying is the follow-up to her 2018 debut album Lost & Found. Smith previously released her EP Be Right Back in 2021, which contains eight songs, prior to her latest project.
