Despite the widespread acclaim for The Act, Gypsy confessed to Access Hollywood that she hasn’t watched the series, stating, “I feel like I lived it; it was my life. I don’t feel like I have to go back and watch it played out.”

Acknowledging actress Joey King, who portrayed her younger self, Gypsy commended her performance, noting, “I’m sure that Joey King did an amazing job playing me. I actually heard an audio clip of her doing my voice, and I think she got it spot on.”

However, Gypsy emphasized the importance of not reliving the trauma, expressing, “But I think honestly not re-living the trauma is probably the best option for me.”
