According to a police report obtained by Inside Edition, a teacher at a Christian school in Alabama is facing charges for allegedly engaging in sexual activity with two teenage boys who were her former students.
Chrystal Frost, a 35-year-old married mother of three, who taught math at Crenshaw Christian Academy in Luverne, was compelled to resign on August 24. This decision came about after the school received an anonymous tip indicating that the teacher had engaged in the exchange of sexually explicit photos with a student on Snapchat.
Frost is facing two charges of engaging in a sex act as a school employee, as well as two charges of distributing salacious material to a student. Additionally, she has been charged with electronically soliciting a child and traveling to meet a minor with the intention of engaging in sexual activities.
According to the police report, Frost sent an inappropriate photo to a student and requested that the student send a photo from their abdomen downwards.
The administrators were informed through a tip that a 15-year-old student, known as GT, had a “nude photo of the math teacher’s breast” on his phone. According to a student’s account to the police, GT showed him the photo and claimed that GT and the teacher had engaged in a romantic relationship.
When asked about the situation by an administrator, Frost reportedly admitted that in another photo she sent to the cheerleaders, she had her Nike shorts pulled up high to “show her butt cheeks.” ing. According to the report, Frost claims he sent the photo “as a joke.”
According to reports, administrators allegedly gave Frost the option to either resign or be terminated.
Frost stepped down, and the school notified the Luverne Police Department, which initiated an investigation.
The police conducted an interview with GT on August 29th during which the boy disclosed that Frost had sent him a sexually explicit photo. The report mentioned that they had been exchanging messages on Snapchat for around two weeks.
Subsequently, she allegedly propositioned him for sex. It was further stated in the report that the two met on property belonging to the student’s family in Pike County and reportedly engaged in sexual activity 4-5 times. The report also mentioned that they had engaged in oral sex.
GT informed the police that he had ended the relationship in the early summer because he believed that if he had not done so, the relationship would have persisted.
The police also located another student whom Frost is believed to have had an explicit relationship with, a 16-year-old identified as AP. According to the report, the teenager, who was interviewed on Aug. 30, explained that he had been a student of Frost’s the previous school year before he started homeschooling.
According to the police report, she allegedly employed comparable tactics to target him, which included Frost sending AP a picture of her breasts, followed by asking if he was aware of a location for engaging in sexual activity.
AP encountered Frost on a farm, engaging in sexual activities including oral sex. Throughout the encounter, the teacher did not engage in any conversation with AP. Following the incident, Frost reportedly sent two additional explicit photos before blocking AP on Snapchat.
According to the report, when Frost was interviewed by the police, she confessed to engaging in illegal conduct with the students and was subsequently arrested by the authorities. WSFA News has stated that Frost’s bail has not yet been determined.
According to its website, Crenshaw Christian Academy, which was established in 1968, currently has approximately 220 students and 30 faculty members.
The school’s mission, as stated on its website, is to offer a safe and nurturing environment centered around the truth of God’s Word and strong Christian values, while providing a rigorous college preparatory academic program.
Earlier this year, a different teacher at a Christian school in Alabama named Jonathan Sauers was accused of engaging in sexual activity with a student.
Sauers, who is 44 years old, was arrested in March and charged with one count of a school employee committing a sex act and one count of a school employee having sexual contact with a student under the age of 19, as reported by FOX10 News.
Sauers, who taught at Faith Academy, a Christian private school situated about two hours southwest of Crenshaw, is currently residing with his parents outside of Alabama, according to WBRC. He is out on a $45,000 bond.
