At the age of 25, Angus Cloud, a star of the HBO series Euphoria, passed away.

In a statement to TMZ, Cloud’s family confirmed his death. “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”

“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone. In addition to being his Hollywood debut, Cloud’s breakthrough role as Fezco on the HBO series came about as a result of a casting agent approaching him on the street; at the time, Cloud was employed at a restaurant in Brooklyn.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cloud claimed that the show’s creator Sam Levinson decided to keep his character around even though he was originally “supposed to die in the first couple of episodes.”

Although Fez’s storyline involving Maude Apatow’s Lexi became a fan favorite, his future on the show was uncertain after he was shot in the stomach during a SWAT raid in the Season 2 finale. Despite being picked up for a third season, Euphoria has not yet begun filming.

Additionally, Cloud made an appearance in the music videos for Noah Cyrus, Juice WRLD, Becky G, and Karol G. He was set to play the lead in an upcoming monster movie from Radio Silence that is scheduled to hit theaters in April 2024.

He also developed a reputation for his fashion sense at runway shows, and most recently, he was chosen for a Puma advertisement.
