Broad and diverse background in all aspects of cinema: exhibition, production (major studio and independent), and film history and aesthetics. Passionate about all genres of film, from arthouse to grindhouse and everything in between.
Working knowledge of and relationships with international and domestic film producers, distributors, production companies and sales agents. Strong communication skills, from business letter and promotional copywriting to the ability to be a clear spokesperson for an organization.
Oversees the organization’s administration, staff, fundraising, community engagement and programming, all in pursuit of the organization’s mission to celebrate film as an art form, source of entertainment and means of building community.
Curates film and video content for America’s oldest film festival, including feature films, documentaries, shorts and archival programming.
