Disney+ has unveiled the much-anticipated trailer for the upcoming season of “Doctor Who,” offering viewers a tantalizing glimpse into the adventures that await in the time-traveling series. Set to premiere on Friday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. EDT on Disney+ in the U.S. and internationally (excluding the U.K.), the new season promises a thrilling journey through time and space with the iconic Doctor and their companion.

In the trailer, fans are treated to a sneak peek at the exploits of the Fifteenth Doctor, portrayed by Ncuti Gatwa, and Ruby Sunday, played by Millie Gibson, as they traverse various eras and encounter a myriad of challenges. From the groovy ’60s to the Regency era in England and war-torn futures, the duo embarks on a whirlwind adventure aboard the TARDIS.

Joining the cast are Indira Varma (“Game of Thrones”) as the enigmatic Duchess, along with Callie Cooke (“Henpocalypse!”) in a guest appearance. The trailer also showcases a diverse array of guest stars, including Anita Dobson, Yasmin Finney, Michelle Greenidge, Bonnie Langford, Jinkx Monsoon, Jemma Redgrave, Lenny Rush, and Angela Wynter, adding depth and intrigue to the upcoming season.

Viewers can expect a simultaneous global launch, with the series debuting on Disney+ and BBC iPlayer in the U.K. on May 11, followed by a broadcast on BBC One later that day. Subsequent episodes will be available on Disney+ (where available) on Fridays and on BBC and BBC iPlayer in the U.K. on Saturdays.

Bad Wolf produces it in collaboration with BBC Studios for Disney Branded Television and BBC, “Doctor Who” continues to captivate audiences with its imaginative storytelling and compelling characters. Russell T Davies spearheads the creative team as showrunner, executive producer, and writer, joined by an esteemed lineup of executive producers including Phil Collinson, Joel Collins, Julie Gardner, and Jane Tranter.
